Family Violence Prevention Council

E-mail Print PDF

The Houston County Family Violence Prevention Council consists of local law enforcement and personnel from various local agencies charged with dealing with the aftermath and prevention of domestic violence.  The council is chaired by Chief Assistant District Attorney Jason Ashford, and meets the fourth Tuesday of every month in the conference room of the Juvenile Justice Complex on Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins.

The Council's Mission is three-fold: improve awareness of the problem of domestic violence, re-educate offenders and enablers of domestic violence through mandatory and optional training programs, and to provide resources and training for first responders and others on dealing with domestic violence.
