Alphonza Fulton
Alphonza Fulton, 42, of 822 McArthur Blvd., Warner Robins, pleaded guilty in Houston Superior Court this afternoon to one count of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and one count of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.  Judge Katherine Lumsden sentenced Fulton to thirty (30) years, to serve ten (10) in prison When Fulton gets out of prison, he will be subject to random drug testing and warrantless searches while on probation.

Fulton, a convicted felon, was under investigation by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators.  Based upon this investigation, the Narcotics Investigators served a search warrant on Fulton and discovered approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine and marijuana inside the vehicle he was in back on March 19, 2008.

COMMENTS BY ASSISTANT DA TIMOTHY M. MARLOW:
“Alfonza Fulton is a convicted felon who decided to come to Houston County to make a living selling drugs.  Instead of choosing to become a productive member of society upon his release from prison for an earlier offense down in Florida, Fulton decided to continue his life of crime,” said ADA Marlow. “This case exemplifies the superlative efforts of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Drug Investigators.  Sergeants Franklin, Quinones, and Williams again demonstrated the skill and professionalism that the HCSO’s Narcotic’s Investigators are known for.  In this case they quickly and expediently investigated the reports of Fulton’s narcotics trade, and swiftly brought justice to his door.  We all owe them a great deal of thanks for ridding our community of these drug dealers.”
