Steve Lynn Joins DA Office

Stephen “Steve” D. Lynn has joined the Houston County District Attorney’s Office as an investigator.

Steve brings a wealth of law enforcement experience to the District Attorney’s Office, having nearly thirty years experience in military police and civilian police matters, including twenty six years with the Warner Robins Police Department. During his career with WRPD he held many positions of responsibility and attained the rank of Captain.

Steve is a graduate of Northside High School, and has a BS and MPA from Georgia College & State University. He is active in the Warner Robins Civitan Club and Houston County Habitat for Humanity. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Houston County.

Steve Lynn: "I am excited to be working with a professional organization of the stature of the Houston District Attorney's Office. I always enjoyed a good working relationship with the DA's office while I was at the Warner Robins Police Department and I'm looking forward to being a member of the team. I have dedicated my adult life to law enforcement and the principles of justice and fairness, and I'm honored to be working with an organization that shares those values."

Supreme Court Denies Daly Petition

The Supreme Court of Georgia denied Kevin A. Daly’s Petition for Certiorari on September 10, 2007, effectively terminating Daly’s appeals for his conviction for child molestation and other heinous crimes against children.

2007 Theft & Fraud Seminar

2007 Theft & Fraud Seminar

The Houston County District Attorney’s Office annual theft/fraud seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Houston County Courthouse.

The seminar will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided for attendees.  The seminar is open to businesses in Houston County.  There is no fee to attend. Please RSVP by calling Jessica at 218-4810 or emailing Jeff Lasseter.

This year’s speakers will be Steven Cross and Kathy Mendelsohn.  Mr. Cross is Security Manager for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta.  Ms. Mendelsohn is a consumer education specialist with the Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs.

Can You Identify This Suspect?

RACE: Black

SEX: Male

AGE: 25-30

HEIGHT: 5'10"

WEIGHT: 220 lbs

LOCATION: Bank of America, Macon

CASE NO: M0712987

This individual approached the victim on 6/30/2007 at 9:30 pm as she was making the night deposit at Bank of America located at 3855 Bloomfield Rd., Macon. The suspect did not show a weapon but implied he had one. He placed his hand under his shirt and told the victim to "drop the bag". He then fled the scene running on Stacey Drive.
