Paperless Update

E-mail Print PDF

Time for an update on the status of the paperless project in our office. We have now moved to a mandatory online discovery system for all criminal cases in the office.

Attorneys can now access the State's discovery written material, audio and video material and all the photos associated with a case by simply accessing the data through a secure, encrypted online case management system. We have developed the case management system totally "in house" through the efforts of Jeff Prater, our IT Director.

To date we have scanned 78,874 documents into our file management system, which totals 320,710 pages of material. We have also uploaded almost 500 GB of audio/video to the case management system!

We continue to maintain backup systems with built in redundacies that protect our data from loss due to weather, computer malfunction or human error/mischief.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
